Nireco, a manufacturer of inspection systems, has introduced the BCON3000 NW for the narrow web market. The system performs 100 percent defect detection, and features a new intuitive control and setup function coupled with Nireco’s image analysis technology.

According to President Vincent Genovese, the BCON3000 NW contains a Common Optical Axis System that eliminates color distortion, and can inspect holographic images and highly reflective substrates.

The system also features the capability of comparing the scanned image with a pdf made from the original artwork file, and an integrated color monitor that permits the viewer to watch gradual color changes.
